Keychain Rectangle 3D for Leo

The lion engraved inside a small block of optical crystal, the constellation drawn behind it and the name beneath, on a ring fitted to the top by a metal cap. A leo keychain has one practical advantage over the other eleven, and it comes from the mane: it is the densest area of engraving in the series, which means more points inside the crystal catching whatever light is around.

Why Density Matters on Something Carried

A shelf crystal can be put on a lit base and left there. A keyring is seen in whatever light it happens to be in: a hallway, a car, the bottom of a bag with a phone screen over it. What makes an engraving visible in those conditions is how many fractured points there are to scatter the light, and a mane drawn as a radiating mass of them does that better than a thin outline does. It is the sign that reads best in bad light, which for an object kept in a pocket is not a small thing.

A Sign That Likes Being Noticed

Leo is traditionally associated with warmth, generosity and a comfort with attention. A keyring is a quiet object compared with the shelf crystal in the same series, but it is also the one other people actually see, because keys come out on counters, desks and tables several times a day while a crystal at home is seen by whoever is already in the house. For this particular sign that is an argument for the carried version rather than against it.

Three Sizes and What Is Included

Three sizes are made, all cut to the same slim depth, so moving up buys more room for the lion rather than a thicker block. The figure is cut at varying depths inside the block, so coins and keys meet only polished crystal and there is no printed layer to wear away. The metal cap and ring are fitted to the top; the crystal is not framed. The design exists already, so nothing is uploaded and no proof is needed before it is made.

A cleaning kit, crystal accessories, gift wrapping and a pop up greeting card are offered alongside it. It arrives in a gift box.

Ultra HD works at 4.5 million points, Standard at 3 million. That works out at up to 50% more. Underlighting is what brings the engraving out. Text engraving is free. Copies of the same piece are 50% off.
