Why Choose a 3D Crystal Square with a Photo Inside?

A square has no crop bias. It takes the same amount from the top as from the bottom, the same from the left as from the right, which means whatever sits in the middle of your photograph stays in the middle of the crystal. That sounds like a small thing until you have watched a wide family photo lose the person on the end. Picking the Perfect Photo for Your Crystal Square

The quirk here is symmetry. Because the crop takes equally from all four sides, a photograph where the subject sits off-centre will either be recentred, losing something at the far edge, or left off-centre inside the block, which looks deliberate only if it was. Group photos need enough space around the outer people to survive that even crop. If your image is much wider than it is tall, tell us which end matters more.
