Pink Prism Candle Holder

The largest piece in this range and the warmest: a faceted block 6.10 inches wide and 3.54 tall, weighing 3.21 pounds, with rose colour in the crystal around the candle and your photograph engraved in the clear part of the block. Every other coloured version in this range is one of the two smaller shapes, so this is the only place where a tint and the full size of the prism come together.

Cut Faces and a Tinted Flame

Facets send light into the body of the crystal rather than bouncing it straight back, so one candle becomes a scatter of bright points that move as you walk past. Adding colour to that changes the character of the whole thing: the points come out warm and rose rather than white, and they land on the surface the piece is standing on as well as inside it. On a pale table that cast is clearly visible after dark, which is worth knowing when you decide where it goes. The clear prism does the same trick without the colour if you would rather the light stayed neutral.

A Centrepiece Rather Than a Shelf Object

At over three pounds and three and a half inches tall this does not tuck away. It wants a clear surface and it is seen from every seat at a table, which is the case for it and equally the case against it in a small room. The engraving field is the largest of the six, so a photograph with two or three people holds more detail here than on the ellipse or the leaf, and the colour makes it the more romantic of the two prisms, which is how most of them are ordered.

Engraving, the Candle and Ordering

Your picture is engraved inside the crystal at varying depths, so it cannot fade, scratch or be cleaned away, and the polished outside stays untouched. Free text engraving is included for a name, a date or a line of your own, placed in the clear crystal beside the image. The background can be kept or removed. Our designers prepare your file and email a free proof before the laser runs. A scented candle is included and the recess takes an ordinary votive afterwards. Gift box included, made in 1-2 business days, US delivery in 3-5.
