Pets Necklace Bone 3D

A bone-shaped pendant is unmistakably a dog's, and that is the whole argument for it. It reads as a treat, a toy, a thing buried in the garden, so it suits the dog who stole socks and met everyone at the door rather than a piece designed purely for mourning. This is the three-dimensional version: your photograph is engraved at varying depths inside the crystal, so the face has volume and a dark muzzle keeps its shape instead of flattening into a shadow. A chain is included. Cat owners will feel the mismatch here, and the paw pendant suits any animal.

What the Depth Engraving Needs From Your Photo

A depth model is built from what the file actually contains, so it rewards a picture taken close, reasonably sharp, with the dog clear of the background. Given that, the result is something a flat engraving cannot match, because the head gains real dimension as you turn the pendant. If your only photograph was taken from across a field or scanned from an old print, the 2D version will serve it better, and our designers will tell you so on the proof rather than let you discover it later.

Sealed Inside the Crystal

Printed and resin charms lose their image within months of being worn, since it sits on the outside. Here it is within the material, where clothing, skin, water and sunlight cannot reach it, so nothing rubs away or fades. A name and dates can be engraved beside the picture at no extra cost, and most owners add at least the name. Held up toward a window the crystal fills with light and the engraving lifts clear of it.

Ordering a 3D Dog Bone Pendant

Send any photo you like and our designers retouch it first, lifting the face and clearing whatever is behind it. Our designers check the file before anything goes to the laser, and will say if it will not hold.

The 3D proof is free and comes before engraving. A paid 3D Preview is $9.99 and comes off the price. Standard runs to 3 million points, Ultra HD to 4.5 million. Up to 50% more detail, in other words. The engraving shows best lit from below.

Text engraving is free. A second copy of the same crystal is 50% off. Choose a sharp, well lit picture cropped at the waist. Each photograph is checked by a person first.
