Green 3D Crystal Capsule

The capsule is the tallest piece in this series, 6.30 inches high and weighing three and a half pounds, with a rounded top that makes it read as a sculpture rather than a photo frame. Your picture is engraved inside the clear crystal and a green sweep runs through the base beneath it. Green is the least common colour here and the most particular about what it suits.

One Face, and the Whole Block

One or two figures are recommended on this shape, against up to five on the wider formats. The height and the curve pull attention to a single subject, so a portrait placed here is given the entire piece instead of sharing it. A man in a hat looking off camera, a grandmother, a graduate: one person, photographed close. A family group belongs in the landscape skirt or the bun, both of which were built with the width to hold one.

What Green Does on a Tall Piece

Deep green absorbs more light than amber, blue or red, so the colour stays concentrated near the base and fades as it climbs the block rather than flooding it. The result is a strong band of colour under a clear portrait, which is a more graphic effect than the other three give. It suits someone who spent their time outdoors, and it sits well against wood, books and darker walls. On a pale surface in bright sun it loses that contrast, and blue holds up better there. Amber is the warmer option if the room has wood in it.

Three and a half pounds wants a surface chosen for it, ideally at eye level with space around it. The photograph is engraved in Ultra HD inside the crystal, where dust, handling and sunlight never reach it, and free text engraving is included for a name, a date or a line of your own.
