3D Crystal Photo Gifts Engraved Inside the Glass
Every piece in this range is a solid block of optical crystal with a photograph engraved inside it. A laser is focused through the polished wall so that it fractures the glass at precise depths — millions of microscopic points which together form your image as a three-dimensional object. Nothing sits on the surface, so there is no print to scuff and no coating to yellow.
The range divides by shape, and shape decides whether a particular photograph works. The heart suits a couple or a single close portrait. The rectangle is the forgiving default: its height gives a portrait room to breathe and it handles full-body shots that other shapes crop badly. The square frames a group centrally with no crop bias. The cut-corner diamond throws light from every angle, and the iceberg is the largest piece we make.
A 3d photo crystal with led light base is the configuration most customers end up choosing, because an unlit block relies on whatever light happens to fall through it. With a base underneath, light enters from below and stops at the engraved points, so the image glows while the surrounding glass disappears.
Choosing a Photo for Crystal Pictures
Send something well lit and free of motion blur, and our design team will tell you which shape holds it best before anything is engraved. Crystal pictures made from phone photos are entirely normal — most of what we engrave comes from one. Busy backgrounds are removed as part of the free proof, and a crystal photo of one clear subject will always read better than a crowded frame.
Unlike crystal prints on a flat surface, the engraving here sits inside the material, which is why it cannot fade. Every piece is inspected before it leaves the facility:
- Is the image centered?
- Is the face clear?
- Is the text readable?
- Are there visible defects in the crystal?
- Is the engraving depth correct?
- Is the crystal cleaned before packaging?
- Is the correct base/accessory included?
- Is the gift box protected for shipping?
