Three hearts 4.72 inches across, 4.17 tall and 2.52 deep, 3.72 pounds each: over eleven pounds of optical crystal in one box, carrying three photographs. It is the heaviest and largest configuration in this range, and nothing else we make asks as much of the surface it stands on.

Fifteen Inches of Width and Eleven Pounds

Three pieces this size standing in a row need roughly fifteen inches of clear width, and the combined weight rules out floating shelves and anything with a thin top. A mantelpiece, a console table or the top of a solid cabinet will take them. That is the first thing to settle, because this is not a set that can be rearranged into a corner if the chosen spot turns out to be wrong. What it gives back is presence: three nearly five inch pieces in the same outline, read from the far side of a room as one deliberate thing.

The Most Depth, Three Times Over

At 2.52 inches these are the deepest crystals in the range, deeper than any rectangle, and depth is the material a three dimensional engraving spends. A photograph with four people in it keeps them at their real distances from the camera instead of flattening them onto a single plane. Across three such pieces that consistency is what makes the group read as one commission rather than three separate orders, so it is worth choosing three photographs of broadly similar quality.

Three Wide Pictures, and the Process

The heart has no upright option, so all three images are cropped wide; a standing portrait among them belongs in the rectangles, which are set per piece. Each crystal is engraved in Ultra HD from its own file. Our designers retouch all three and email three proofs, and nothing is cut until every one is approved, which on a set of this size is the step that prevents an expensive disappointment. Free text engraving is included on each piece, with space for a name, dates and a line. Each background can be kept or removed on its own. Light bases can be added for any or all three, and at eleven pounds of crystal the difference a base makes after dark is larger here than on anything else in the range.
