Medium 2D Crystal Pet Paw

A paw-shaped block of optical crystal, almost as tall as it is wide, with your pet's photograph engraved inside the glass rather than printed on it. A paw print keepsake says what it is before the photograph is seen. The paw belongs to every animal equally: a labrador, a tabby, a rabbit, a rescue of no identifiable breed. Nothing about the outline assumes a species or a size, and that is why it is the shape most owners choose when the point is this particular animal rather than the category. This is the flat-engraved version, where the image is rendered as a single tonal layer inside the crystal.

Built for the Photographs Owners Actually Have

Animal pictures are rarely taken under good conditions. They are snapped mid-movement, across a room, in poor light, or scanned from a print made long before anybody thought to photograph the dog properly. Flat engraving reproduces the tones that are genuinely in the file and invents nothing, which makes it the honest choice for exactly those images. Our designers retouch the file first, lifting a dark muzzle and sharpening fur where the original went soft, and you can have the background removed or kept, so a garden or a favourite chair stays in the picture if it belongs there.

Standing on a Lit Base

The crystal stands on its own, and an LED base can be added underneath. Light entering from below travels through the block and meets the engraving from behind, which turns a grey image into a clear white one and makes the paw glow in a dim room. That is how most owners display it.
