3D Clover Flower Set With Blue Ribbon Card

A 3D clover flower set card tied with a blue ribbon, 6.1 by 8.11 inches closed and 0.11 pounds. The ribbon is the difference between this card and its orange twin, and it is not a small one.

Blue Rather Than Orange

The paper work is the same; the ribbon decides the mood. Blue reads as cool and restrained, which suits a formal occasion, a man, or a message that should not look celebratory: a thank you, a condolence, a note to somebody at work. The orange ribbon version is the warmer, more festive of the two.

Clover, Not Roses

Clover carries luck rather than romance, which makes this a card for new jobs, exams, moves, journeys and anything about to be attempted. That is a different list of occasions from every other flower card in the range.

Construction

0.11 pounds and 6.1 by 8.11 inches upright, in the middle weight class: more cut paper than the simplest cards at 0.06 pounds and less than the flower sets at 0.13. The upright format gives the clover set height to rise into when the card opens.

Specification

Clover flower set card with a blue ribbon, 6.1 by 8.11 inches closed, 0.08 inches thick flat, 0.11 pounds.

Nothing is personalised and no proof is needed, so nothing waits on approval.

At 0.08 inches folded the card posts in an ordinary envelope.

Write the message yourself; it arrives blank inside.

Once opened it stands on a desk or a shelf, which is usually where a good luck card spends the following weeks.

Order with a few days in hand for a dated occasion rather than relying on the fastest delivery.

The same design is made with an orange ribbon, and roses, sunflowers, mixed and pink flower sets are the other cards in the range.

Cut paper holds its colour where printed ink fades, which is one reason these cards get kept rather than thrown out.

A ribbon is also the only part of the card that is not paper, and it is what makes the object read as a gift rather than as stationery.

The card does most of the work, so a short handwritten line underneath it is enough.

A blue ribbon is also the version people choose when the card is going to a workplace, where anything festive would be read as too familiar.

Made in 1-2 business days, US delivery in 3-5.
