8x11 Glass Photo Print in Portrait or Landscape

A rectangular glass photo print, 8 by 11 inches, with your image printed directly onto ultra-thin tempered glass. The proportions are close to a standard sheet, so most photographs fit without cropping, in portrait for a person or a couple and in landscape for a group, a house or a wide view. Printing on glass gives colour more depth than paper: shadows hold detail, highlights stay clean, and the slight gloss of the surface makes the picture read as it did on screen. The panel stands on a shelf with the included support or hangs flat on a wall, and it will not warp, yellow or take up moisture.

Send any photo; our designers colour-correct it and email a free proof before printing.

Gift box included, made in 1-2 days, delivered in 3-5.

Why Glass Picture Prints Beat Paper and Frame

A framed paper print puts a sheet of glazing in front of the image, which adds reflections and a visible air gap. Printing straight onto glass removes both: the ink is bonded to the reverse of the panel, so you see the photograph through the glass itself. Blacks look deeper, colour looks slightly luminous, and there is no paper to yellow or mount board to degrade. For photographs kept for decades, the difference in longevity is significant.

Why 8x11 Works for Most Photos

The ratio is close to A4 and to a standard 8x10 print, which is the shape most cameras and phones produce by default. That means an 8x11 glass photo print usually needs no crop at all, so nothing is lost from the edges of a group photo or the top of a building. Portrait orientation flatters a single subject or a couple; landscape suits families, wedding parties, landscapes and interiors.

Standing or Hanging a Glass Print

The included support stands the panel upright on a shelf, sideboard, mantel or desk. It can also hang flat on a wall, and because ultra-thin glass is light for its area, no heavy fixings are needed. Two or three panels in a row make a simple gallery wall; mixing 8x11 rectangles with square tiles is a common arrangement in customer photos.

What Makes a Good File

Glass is a sharper medium than paper, which means it flatters good photos and exposes weak ones. Well-lit images with clean colour gain the most. Very dark, noisy or heavily filtered files show their limitations more clearly here than in a paper print. Our design team colour-corrects each image for the glass printing profile and will tell you before production if a photo lacks the resolution for this size.

Ordering and Care

Upload your photograph at checkout. A designer prepares it and emails a free digital proof, usually within a day, with as many revisions as you need. Production takes 1-2 business days and US delivery 3-5, in protective packaging inside a gift box. Clean the front with a soft cloth and a little water if necessary; the print is on the reverse, so the image itself cannot be touched.
